Flexible ISA rules
If I put in (say) £20k into a flexible ISA, withdraw £5k and then transfer then remaining £15k to a different, non-flexible ISA; can I put the £5k into the non-flexible ISA at a later date? Or is the £5k allowance lost?

Topping up old ISAs
I have a cash ISA and several Stocks and Shares ISAs from previous tax years. I have had to take out most of the money of two of the ISAs as I needed the funds. Am I allowed to top each of them up again, back up to the £20,000 limit, when I have more money available again? Or is it the case that once I’ve taken the money…

Help to buy ISA and Cash ISA
Can someone help me get a definitive answer please because I've seen conflicting responses. I have a help to buy ISA that i've been paying into for years (plus a small stocks ISA that i opened this year). Am I able to open a cash ISA this tax year too? I always thought you couldn't but NatWest seemed to imply you can have…

Cash ISA - Tembo vs Post Office - Which do I choose?!
Hi all, need a fairly urgent response on this. Looking to open a new Cash ISA account before the 5th April tax year end, I have £19500 to put in. I am deciding between Tembo who are offering a straight 4.8% Variable rate, or Post Office who are offering 4.4% (1.25% variable + 1yr 3.15% bonus). The decision comes down to…

HARGREAVES LANSDOWN CASHBACK
Hi all, I took out a Hargreaves Lansdown ISA on 24 July 2024 with the express intent of collecting the £50 cashback [available after 7 months] as described in MSE Money Tips 23 July 2024. This week I contacted HL to see where the cashback was as it had not appeared in my account. They've told me that this offer was limited…

Lisa bonus
We gave our eldest money towards a deposit on his first home, we obviously would like to do the same for our youngest. We're wondering if we give him £4k to put into a Lisa how long it has to be in to earn the 1k bonus? Presumably too late for this financial year? Thanks

When?
Good morning all, first post so please be gentle. My question is about when to set up a new ISA. I have a fixed ISA with NatWest that runs Jan 2025 to 2026 which has a little over £20.000 in. My wife and I have just recently become mortgage free and are looking to set up a new flexible ISA to put the money we paid on our…

Have I over deposited in this tax year?
Hi guys - not sure if I am over thinking this... I put £15,000 into Virgin Flexi ISA11 on 13 Mar 2024 (23/24). I got a note from them saying it would move to Flexi ISA3 on 31 Mar 2025. Is this counted against my 24/25 ISA allowance? As I have also deposited £12,500 with Trading212 on 20 Feb 2025. Does that mean I have…

flexible ISA 'same tax year'
Slight complication is that we are very close to the end of a tax year so let's assume it is currently May 2025. I already have a flexible ISA, it has cash in it from the 2024-25 tax year but I haven't contributed any in 2025-26. My question is can I withdrawn from it in the 2025-26 tax year and then pay it back in later…

Repay Flexible Cash ISA from Regular Savings?
Hi, This financial year I withdrew funds from a Flexible Cash ISA to pay into multiple Regular Savers with higher interest rates. That worked for me. I'm a basic tax payer but time away travelling put me into the no tax bracket. At this time of year, I'd normally repay the Flexible Cash ISA but now the savings interest…

HL LISA regular investing
Over the next tax year I intend to pay into my HL LISA using their monthly investment option to smooth out any volatility and to avoid fees. However does anyone know how the bonus works? Will that be invested as per my instructions on a delay when it's paid in or will I need to periodically mop it up and pay fees?
