Hello

I have two ISAs; Cash ISA and Stocks & Shares ISA.

I opened Cash ISA in 2024 financial year and also opened Stocks & Shares ISA in 2025 financial year.

Can I change the Cash ISA into a completely new Stocks & Shares ISA w/o sacrificing my tax free amount for 2025 financial year?

Thanks.

    Yes.

You don't change it. You transfer it. Open a new S&S ISA with your chosen provider then get them to handle the transfer. That way you keep everything inside an ISA. You could also transfer the cash ISA into your existing S&S ISA if you choose. But the key is that the receiving ISA must do the transfer.

Why do you want a different stocks and shares ISA from the one you have?
