Merged Cash ISA question

If I have a flexible cash ISA with 2024/25 subscriptions in and 2025/26 subscriptions in, can I transfer £10,000 to another ISA and call it last years subscription? or has the rule keeping the current years subscription together now gone?

That rule was removed last year, so it doesn't matter anymore, i.e. you can transfer from one to another without needing to label the money as such, although some receiving providers may still ask you to nominate.
