She just informed me that she is unable to get the hot water to come out of the bathroom sink tap. She could let it run and run and it will not get hot at the sink tap. Her kitchen sink tap works fine. Our…

Should I be wary of private sale?
I am forced to sell my house because of debts and was on the verge of selling to the best sell and rent back company I found. However, I have since received a verbal offer, subject to survey, from a private investor via an estate agent. It is a very good offer, very near the market value and about £30k more than I would…

Flats and Leasehold
Hi all, Im looking to buy a flat with a long lease. By long lease I mean over 110 years because until I sell it in 10+ years, I don’t want the hassle or the cost of renewing a lease. Most places that im interested in have leases of between 80 and 90 years…I know about marriage value, so I would not even consider anything…

What should I do?
Hi Guys, Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but I'd really like some opinions. I live in a rented house in a small cul-de-sac. There is a footpath at the end of our drive which connects us to the next cul-de-sac. My concern is that there's an on call fireman who drives over the footpath (to avoid the speedbumps…
