The consultation is primarily aimed at LL associations, welfare rights groups, local authorities etc but members of the general public are are also welcome to comment. See here

Somebody, somewhere MUST have had good reason to think this was good idea but I have never read it? Encouraging tenants to bargain rents down to get hold of the £15.
Creating a knock on effect that reduces average rents, so forcing LHA down?I'm a Forum Ambassador on The Coronavirus Boards as well as the housing, mortgages and student money saving boards. Or maybe to encourage tenants to take badly insulated properties that are cheaper, knowing that they can use the £15 to supplement higher fuel bills. Or does that stand in the face of EPCs?
It could encourage tenants to take more rural properties and use the £15 to supplement increased travel costs?I'm a Forum Ambassador on The Coronavirus Boards as well as the housing, mortgages and student money saving boards. Thanks for this
Besides the £15 issue - what other reforms are being discussed?
I spoke to someone from Central Government about this 'LHA Mess' - he told me that the whole concept comes from 'Europe' - what a surprise:D0
