hi, looking for some advice.
own a house with ex partner and want to buy her out.
house valued at 145000 and mortgage of 103000 with C&G.
We have agreed a figure of 7000 (deposit was all mine!)
Now a thought everything was going well until lawyer said today that a needed lenders approval, wish she had said earlier!!! as a have took a personal loan to pay ex.( yes iam very naive)
Phoned C&G who will not let me buy it as salary is only 20k
Asked about buy to let and was told a needed a salary of £35k(need to ask for a rise!!!!)
My plan was to rent property and move in with new partner and i have someone willing to rent at a price that covers mortgage by £150 and wants it 1st of august.
mortgage is curently sitting on C&G standard rate.
will any lenders give me that size of mortgage on wage???

Just to bump it a little.
And I'm not sure you'll get over 5 x salary any more - the limit's usually about 4.0
