Robot lawn mowers
Has anyone got one, used one or have any advice? Although it's not a large lawn I'm finding it increasingly difficult to mow it and wondered whether it made economic sense to buy one as opposed to getting someone in to mow it. My mower has just died so I need to buy a new one anyway.

Can I save 3 small Dicksonia Antartica?
stupidly left out our 3 small ferns over winter, totally forgot they were at thr ottom of the garden, and now they look a real sorry state. Is there anyting I can do (other than be a better tree parent) to rescue them? They're only about a foot tall each, but im hoping they live or can be nursed back to health?

Buying and planting Tulips "in the green"
hi there was looking at Tulips in B and Q as we never got round to planting bulbs. If I plant them now will they flower this spring generally? Clay Soil
Has anyone had success growing anything in clay soil? If so what? We have large beds in our garden so was wanting a few different colourful plants for ground cover plus one or two larger evergreen shrubs that will grow big and won't die off in winter. Not roses though, we have those already!
