Hi, I'm not a great gardener and have quite a bit of empty space in the rear garden for some shrubs.
I fancy taking a few cuttings and then planting them out, I'm thinking snip 'em off, shave a bit of bark, dip in rooting powder and pot 'em up.
I am hoping that if I spray the leaves they will survive until the roots grow. I tried 3 last year (without spraying) and 1 has taken.
Anyone know if Hebe are easy to do? I like these type and anything similar. I've got Holly, Pyracantha, something with nice yellow flowers and an evergreen thing not a conifer at the mo. Oh and a huge load of Rosemary growing in the front bed.
Told you gardening wasn't my forte.
