Can anyone give a ball figure for rebuilding garden wall. it is only around the plants, about 3-4 bricks high. Will probably need new bricks/stone as old ones grotty. On 2 sides of average garden. I know there are lots of variables here but just need to know if I can afford it

Frankly, with that description, no one could attempt a costing, not even a bricklayer, who'd usually be found in the 'In My Home' section of MSE, not in gardening!

You'd need to decide whether it was to be 3 or 4 bricks high, single skin or double, and how it would be finished at the top - with coping stones, perhaps? Then you'd need to get out a tape measure and say how long. Even then, without knowledge of the existing foundation, or lack of it, an estimate would be a shot in the dark.
