Help! Can’t collect ASDA click and collect order!
Booked my ASDA click and collect order late last night for 9am this morning. Overnight, daughter has developed a really bad diarrhoea and vomiting bug and is on the toilet every 10 minutes. No one else can go and collect. What will happen if I don’t collect? Panicking!

Heinz Baked Beans - Food Warehouse
These were £3.75 for a pack of six today (£3.38 with the Over-60's discount). Works out at around £0.56 a tin (with the discount) the cheapest I've seen them for a very long time (just checked online, normal price for one tin is £1.40!)

Microwave vs traditional rice - which is cheaper
Although per gram traditional rice is generally cheaper than microwave rice. What happens when you take the cooking cost into account? Has anyone found / done a scientific type check on this? For me the microwave rice seems to be good value for money.

membership card for every shop
Apart from m&s and waitrose, when I go to tesco co op and sainsburys I feel like I am being ripped off because I havent got their member card. I am paying a lot more per item just because of this and only using a debit card. Does anyone agree this feels a bit wrong?

Orange stickers (reductions) in Lidl
I commented yesterday that generally supermarkets and stores would put a reduction barcode sticker over the original barcode. I said that I would check today in my local Lidl this I have done. I'm sorry but I can neither find my post nor other posts, indeed not even the thread. Anyway just to honour my commitment ... I…

Lidl ham with 'best before' date
I'm just making my lunch for work tomorrow and have opened a pack of sliced ham from Lidl that has a best before date of 22nd October. I'm sure it will be ok to eat tomorrow (24th), but I'm just a bit surprised by the 'best before' rather than 'use by' date. Is this usual for Lidl? I thought all cold cuts of meat would…

Interpreting Tesco substitution emails
Can anyone please help make sense of what Tesco are charging me for here? I swear they try to confuse us so we don't question it! Amongst other stuff, I ordered: 2* Andrex 12x mega rolls - £11.75 ea = £23.50 4x Pampers baby wipes £1.25 ea (2 for £2) = £4 Which equals £27.50 for those items. Working with the information on…

Waitrose vouchers
Anyone else finding the weekly vouchers less useful? We’ve been offered 50p off the same sandwich for weeks now, 50p off various items costing £10+, detergents etc. Most of these expensive items are cheaper in other supermarkets. When the voucher system changed I was no longer able to claim the free daily newspaper; my…

Tesco's "4 for 3" offer on ALL frozen products - TAKE CARE!!
Please be careful that you aren't misled by this offer. The problem with this offer is that in the smallprint (VERY small) it states that the free item - item number 4 then - applies to the "cheapest" one. HOWEVER, a normal, reasonable shopper would expect this to apply to the same product, or same range of products,…

Any tips on reducing the costs of these? Prices have gone up so much. I used to get a medium latte for around 2.50 , a small latte is now 3.25. I like having one coffee a day while I work in a van so have a daily Costa drive thru visit. On top of that food has gone up, out local bakery chain has nearly doubled in price!…
