Tesco Clubcard Days Out Trick - Doing Good

Options
Many of you will have seen, the latest weekly newsletter highlights a current promotion where if you exchange 500 points on a Days Out voucher, you'll get 1,000 points back. If not, read here: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/tesco-clubcard/#5HXepjyvz37nirKAdgyHfk

Having looked through the Reward Partners qualifying for this offer, I am confident that I have no intention of visiting any of them in the foreseeable future. MSE's advice is to just exchange the minimum 500 points into a voucher anyway, as you'll get twice as many back, so profit.

However, rather than picking randomly and then letting the voucher expire (in which case I assume Tesco pocket the value), I was wondering if there is a good way to redeem a voucher such that the money goes to a good cause. Some of the Reward Partners are charities like WWT. However, I don't want to spend any of my own money, nor involve more faff than is required. So it seems to me, the criteria are:
  • Needs to be a good cause
  • Need to be able to book/pay online
  • Need to have something available for <£10
  • Needs to not be too personal - I don't want to be chased down if I "forget" to attend the booked activity.
Current top of the list is the Thinktank Science Museum, which seems to be a good cause (registered charity for providing educational services), looks like I can book a single child ticket online for £7.50 (so covered by a £10 voucher), and I can't imagine anyone is going to notice or care if I (or some imaginary child) doesn't turn up.

Any better ideas?

(PS - apologies if this is the wrong forum section. But couldn't see a better place for a question about clubcard points, even if not directly relating to grocery shopping.)

    Thank you for this.

    Surprised not more commentary.

Support good cause. Money in our pockets. The faceless corporate ****** that Tesco is paying, what's not to like.

Before anyone comments, yes I know Tesco will claw it back in other ways but it feels like a small win.
