Am I the only person with Nectar Price App Issues?

When I use the nectar prices app I have to walk around the store to get it to place me inside the store and allow the shop. I have used Sainsburys wifi and my own 5g and eventually i get it to confirm my location in the store after trying every position in each isle.
I get the error message "please try again later" as the app tries to start.

This app is the only one I have the issue with and I have updated it and restarted the phone in order to get it to work in the past.

I don't know anybody else who uses the Nectar Price app to ask if they ever have issues using a Samsung phone.

There's no such thing as a "Nectar Price app". Do you mean the Sainsbury's SmartShop app, their self-scan app?

I've not used it for ages, partly because of this issue (or at least, that it wouldn't recognise that I was.in a store).

Assuming you do mean the SmartShop app, haven't used it for a few months but can't you scan a QR-code that's displayed at the entrance to the store (and elsewhere) to confirm your location?

I just use the in-store zapper - easier than fiddling with the phone

Me too, but zapper not available in Sainsbury's Local locations, nor in my nearest (smallish) full branch.

oh that's a nuisance. I have got so used to them  in tesco and sainsburys that I was a bit lost when I found the local morrisons didn't have them
