Are you receiving your Asda online grocery refunds?
This is really starting to annoy me!!! When you return an item to the delivery driver, you expect a refund right? Well it doesn't seem to be happening automatically... It's not every single time, but sometimes you receive a really stupid sub, or just something you don't like, instead of what you ordered, so you hand the…

Morrisons Volcanic Vindaloo
I like a good curry, and it is very rare that I buy ready meals because I invariably end wishing that I hadn't. They said it was made from Naga chillis…

Which is cheapest: Tesco or Sainsburys?
Hello, has anyone got an idea as to whether Sainsbury's or Tesco is generally more expensive? I always thought Sainsbury's was meant to be more expensive but it seems to me the price difference is pretty minimal.

Flavour / Flavoured
I have read many times that if something is x-flavoured it must contain some real x whereas something that is x-flavour just has to contain something that tastes like x. This seems not always to be the case. Do different rules apply to different foodstuffs? For example "Flavour / flavoured It is important to realise that…

Why have soft drinks gone up in price?
Hey, I just wondered if any of the savy folks here had any idea why this has happened? For a while if I shopped around I could generally find a two litre bottle of soft drinks for £1. I sometimes had to rotate the product but I like a few different varieties so I wasn't bothered by this. Recently however the going rate…

Aldi prices creeping up
Has anybody else noticed how Aldi prices are rising compared to the "big" supermarkets? We've shopped at Aldi for some while now as on average, we reckoned our weekly shop costed around 2/3rd that of a similar Tesco shop. In the last few weeks however, we've noticed prices rising and I assumed it was down to a mix of a…
