Incorrect CCJ
My daughters partner has a CCJ wrongly placed on his credit file (his father has the same name). The courts say that its Experians fault and Experian say that they have correctly applied the information given by the court. Any suggestions on how he proceeds?

Lantern DCA Confusing problem.

(News to me i have lived in my current address for twelve years) They have issued a demand for £250 saying that i owe it. Now they don't say what the 'actual debt' is,…

Debt collection searches CRA
Debt collection searches appear in the soft search part of my credit report however after check with Equifax apparently they can be seen by lenders and do negatively effect your credit worthiness. Is this true? I thought only hard searches were visible when applying for credit? I will attach picture to show what I mean…

Credit file skullduggery
Can anyone tell me if this is right/allowed. It's from Provident Personal finance, I'm sure people are aware of the back story of all this and payday loans but when they liquidated the just marked it as satisfied rather then removing it. I missed the time frame for compensation and when I've emailed them they basically say…

Can I change the address of the defendant on court papers after obtaining a county court judgement?
I've obtained judgement against my rogue roofer and I'm just waiting for the paper copy of the judgement through the post. I've recently found out that the address he told me he lived at (that also appeared on his invoice and van) is not where he lives and he's not local. I can't find any information online (went through…

HSBC removing credit searches after three months...?
Hi all, Wonder if anyone else has experienced this! I had three hard credit searches on my Equifax file from HSBC, two from August and one from October. Ordinarily these would drop off after a year, but they've all progressively been removed from my Equifax file and are now all gone. I've not had any contact with HSBC that…

Paid amount of claim form in full. Need advice
Hi! I can't seem to find the answer to this elsewhere. I recently received a claim form for about £100 that I owe. Since it's not a huge amount, I just decided to pay it in full to avoid it becoming a CCJ. I called the solicitor and paid the amount and asked if I still had to fill out the claim form and they said no, and…

But I am amazed that I have that in total. Is it possible to have…

Credit file data check from lenders
Hello all, I hope you are well! I have a general topic to put out there for people’s discussion and insight if possible. When a lender runs a check on you for say a credit card or a mortgage, do they see the live credit report on that day, or do some only get a snapshot of when they pull data from the credit lender? I’ve…

Experian Credit Score
Hi All, I have recently moved taking out a new mortgage in the process. My Experian credit score used to be 999 but is now 879. The reason, I think, is because the age of my mortgage is showing as N/A (as it was only taken up last August). Does anyone know how often mortgage repayment history is published to these agencies…
