Hi
i use clear score and I’ve seems that virgin mobile has put 4 months of arrears on my report bringing my score from 600 to near 300 and I don’t owe them anything I left them October last year and I paid my last bill off
they’ve told me to email credit amendment but they will respond in 21 days
Why are they sending false reports and can they get done for this ? I’ve asked for compensation too

Because errors can not be legislated against, no matter how much you threaten to 'do' someone for it.
As long as the error is corrected, you don't need to worry about your missing 300 points. You'll probably never see them again, but you never really had them in the first place.
Don't get your hopes up for compensation.2 -
As above, really. Errors do happen, it's an unfortunate fact of life. And whilst your score is neither here nor there, it is important to get the incorrect arrears removed from your credit file.As long as the data is corrected then I think you'll struggle to gain any compensation, as you've suffered no direct financial loss (unless it can be proved that you've been offered a less favourable rate on a loan, for instance, as a result of the incorrect information). They may be prepared to offer a small goodwill gesture, but compensation as such is only warranted in cases where verifiable and quantifiable financial loss has been caused.0
