To have two PCP car finance agreements on my credit report

Apologies if this is the wrong thread but it’s in regards to searches, credit files and borrowing on PCP.
Bit of a tricky one here, please bare with the long post;
I unfortunately wrote off my car in November. The process prolonged until a week or two ago due a third-party company elected by my insurance to recover my car, messing me about something rotten with recovering the car to repairers to diagnose.
This said, I’ve now received my payout and last Saturday factory ordered a new car but there’s a six month production wait.

This being said, my girlfriend has also been looking at getting a bigger car. We have a baby on the way and realising hers is tiny, and when she’s been visiting her friend who’s had a baby they’ve strongly struggled with a pram.
She applied for one on Cinch a few days ago but her credit history isn’t great and despite currently having car finance with the same financial institution, they rejected her.
As it stands. My finance agreement on my factory car won’t start until July/August. The salesman told me my finance has been approved earlier this week (hasn’t appeared on my credit file though) but me and my girlfriend came up with the idea of me getting her car on finance, using it for six months whilst she’s on maternity leave anyway, and then she will pay the finance and the deposit on it with the sale of her current car and as much as it’ll be in my name, she’ll use it as her car when mine arrives.
She pays very little for her finance anyway and a new car will be very similar.
But the only thing putting me off is that if I get a current car on finance, it will somehow scupper my chances on my new car in six months?

Technically I am buying a new car to put me on for those six months. The finance has already been approved for the new factory car? And Cazoo that I’m looking at for my girlfriend’s car is suggesting I have an excellent chance of approval.
Financially we are both in a good place, and both have no intentions of obtaining further credit in the near future so affordability is fine.

If I get rejected for the second car then it isn’t too much of an issue. It’s if I get this car, get the loan on my credit report and then when it comes to collecting my new one, they run further checks and tell me I can’t have it? Is that a thing? Any advice?
