Credit Card Insurance
I currently have all of my credit/debit/store cards covered by Barclays Cradholder Protection. Simply put, if they get lost/stolen, I ring one number and Barclays will then cancel all of the crads (First Direct, Barclays, Amex, etc...). However, when I first started this in I think 1999/2000 it was £10 a year. It has risen…

Annoying P.O. Credit card
I've just had to withdraw my application for a P.O. credit card because I have an online bank account with A&L. The p.o. needs a bank statement from me for legitimate reasons, but A&L will charge me £5 to get a paper statement. The p.o. are not prepared to reimburse me for this and say they have no other way around it. In…

Amex Platinum and Morgan Stanley Platinum: Overview of Card Details and Ts & Cs.
Hi, everyone, I’m new these boards, so, please, treat me like an idiot. My current, long-term (10 years) credit card (paid, in full, every month) is the bog-standard Barclaycard. As I’m new to the ‘‘cash-back’ credit-card’ game, I thought I’d try to help others in the same position as me and detail what I’ve gleaned, thus…

Martin can you help? - Petition to get MS to pay 100% of cashback on closed accounts
There is another thread on MS introducing the £20 fee. However thought it may be a good idea if everyone affected by MS decision to only pay out cashback in multiples of £15 posted to show the level of anger. For example my wife currently has £27.05 cashback so unless she spends around £600 before June (she's now at 0.5%)…

MBNA Charged Me For Playing Bingo
Have just reviewed my MBNA card statement which came yesterday and noticed alarmingly that they have charged me a 30% fee for using the card to open an online account with a bingo web site. Says that it is a "cash advance fee". I have never experienced this with other credit cards. Has anybody else? Should I kick up a fuss?
