MBNA hassles
I'd be interested if others have had similar problems with the MBNA card or if I'm just unlucky... Set up a direct debit on their website as soon as I got my first statement thinking it would mean I would have no worries about remembering to make payments. Second statement comes along and no payment has been made and I've…

For how long will 0% bts be marketed
Will the increases in the bank base rate affect the marketing of 0% balance transfers. As a Credit Card Tart I am concerned that not only will I run out of cards available for me to transfer my debt to, but the financial institutions will cease to offer 0% deals. Is it time to take up the Capital One life of balance offer.…

Household income when spouse does not work
I have decided to pause my super tarting activities for a couple of months until one of my cards 0% deal ends. However, my wife is considering joining the club by applying herself (gulp!). Halifax Credit card going down hill
Ive had a Halifax credit card for a few years now. Its always had 1% cashback - which I thought was the best deal on a visa card (I know american express is also 1%) Then towards the end of last year my cashback dropped to 0.5%, and now they've cut the cashback again to just 0.25%. If I had the chance i'd cut up the card…

0% deals - does anyone know why they exist?
Can credit card companies really make enough money from the people who don't leave and afford to give away the cost of funding all the 0% balances for those people who do? If they're just using their existing customers to fund it, doesn't that mean that people taking multiple 0% deals are just taking it from the people too…
