I currently have all of my credit/debit/store cards covered by Barclays Cradholder Protection. Simply put, if they get lost/stolen, I ring one number and Barclays will then cancel all of the crads (First Direct, Barclays, Amex, etc...).
However, when I first started this in I think 1999/2000 it was £10 a year. It has risen quite significantly to now being £29 a year and i'm wondering if its worthwhile evn having this insurance. If it is, does anyone else know of any cheaper suppliers out there?

Does the £29 cover your household or just you. I know the M&S one only charges £15 a year and will offer almost exactly the same benefits. However that cover is just for you. I beleive the cover for 2 people with M&S is £25 a year. Theres also a 3 option as well. For just yourself it is £35 and for yourself and your partner its £55.0 -
I'm pretty sure the £29 is just for me. If M&S is only £15 then I'll be stopping the Barclays one from renewing. Thanks for the tip off! :money:Reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alohol.:beer:0
