Back to sporadic payment
A DEO is in place and has been for several years. There have been issues since the beginning with the employer beign very lax. First there were no payments with the employer declaring only when contacted by the CSA that the NRP was no longer working there (he was and was actively seen working for the same place). This was…

Back to square one!
HI all. Just wondering if any of you have had similar problems. My son is 14 years old and through his childhood I have only ever received regular maintenance when a DEO was set up in 2004 via the CSA. This lasted 2 years and then ceased when my ex finished legitimate work.Arrears had also built up during this time and…

Anyone else not receiving payments?
For me, this has been going on for a few months. The payments into my bank account from the CSA have been very sporadic. Payments missed here and there and then 2 lumped together. The last time I called about this was about 3 months ago. I called again today and I got the same answer. I was told that the accounts…

CSA1, Private Pension, living with gf
I pay through CSA1 for my 15yr old son. I am employed full-time, and payments are taken via DEO. I have no arrears. I will shortly be taking payment of a private pension. I appreciate that my monthly pension must be declared to CSA, and have no problem with this. However, I will be taking my 25% tax free lump sum (not…

Can I trace that my DEO has been forwarded to my ex by CSA?
Just wondering if there is anyway I can trace if my payments by DEO have actually been forwarded on to my ex by the CSA without me actually having to speak to her if possible. I have got a suspicion, and it is only that at the moment, that although my liability to pay Child Support ended 2 years ago because Child Benefit…

CSA, universal credit, minimum income limit and nrp
Does anyone have an idea whether, with the introduction of the minimum income limit for self employed and universal credit claims, whether the csa will now use this minimum income limit when calculating gross income for csa calculations for a self employed nrp. For too long the self employed nrp have abused the system to…

If you could change one thing.
We often get asked by senior managers if there is anything we would change in both legislation and general casework, i thought it would be an idea to ask you, the pwcs and nrps, what you would change if you could. Ive always maintained that a pwc's income ( not her new partner ect ) should be taken into account if over a…

Hi Thanks for all your informative posts :) You mention that staff are bound by legislation when making decisions - can you point me in the direction of the rules that cover default maintenance decisions ? Ex says refused Car Insurance Because of Attachment of Earnings?
My Ex (who has been a reluctant and angry payer of CSA) has said that he was refused car insurance (credit) because of an attachment of earnings made by the CSA. Does an attachment of earnings orders affect your credit rating in this way? Of course, I have no idea if he has other credit problems.

CSA on low income
Do they calculate CSA payments on a percentage of your income received or on what's left after living expenses? My son is currently trying to get his set but is on a very low income at present. They have also asked for arrears from the original date of application even though the mother stopped the application at that time…

++ Not that there's anything really to comment on but I got home last night to find a brown envelope on the kitchen table which (usually) means only one thing - the CSA have been in touch  Imagine my surprise when I open the envelope to find a set of wage slips and a letter saying they had finished with them and…
