HSBC £205
I've opened up the advance account and received my debit card. App installed and funds transferred. I've yet to spend 5 times as only just setup now. The multi currency account I can see within the app. Do I need to move funds into the multi currency account. How do I get the card for this account and the £205.

If an account is sent to a collection company is it automatically closed. It's no longer showing in the app. Is there any chance of reopening once the debit has been repaid.

Fraud help please
Hi, I have had multiple attempts at fraudulent finance account openings and luckily none had gone as far as applications as companies were spotting them as fraud. I had soft and hard searches cleared off my credit file, reported the fraud to the 3 credit agencies, action fraud and payed for CIFAS protection. Despite all…

Online banking security
My bank offers an app for online banking which requires either a fingerprint or Face ID as security to login. The anytime banking website needs a password and pin. Since all it would take is the threat of violence for anyone to be willing to log in and transfer money, it seems very risky to me. I don’t use online banking…

Need a throwaway digital bank account for interacting with ebay
Hi everyone! I am new here and need a bit of advice! I want to open an ebay account, just for buying, not for selling. I am very suspicious of this company's practices as many of my friends who linked their bank accounts to it could not unlink them anymore, and had to close said bank accounts for good to get rid of ebay. I…

Llyods was attractive as it didn’t require a minimum of 2 or 3 direct debits from my ghost account which had none. Q1 what do people do in this situation where the…

Tattoo artist business account
Where to start? I have been a registered tattoo artist for 14 years and for most of the time I have been using my HSBC current account to receive and pay in money. I set up a Monzo account to use as it was great for allocating money in to pots and keeping track of expenses, I recently received a message from Monzo saying i…

Halifax Debit Card Declined
I was in my local Lidl yesterday where I shop often. Tapped my card, cashier said it hadn't worked and I needed to put the card in with PIN. Did that, card declined. Tried again, card declined. I knew the money was in the account and that I'd put in the right PIN. Phoned Halifax when I got home. After going through…

For those who missed out: TopCashback is still live for HSBC Advance
I missed the deadline for the £205 offer, but the £60 Cashback for opening the HSBC Advance is still live. Set up this afternoon, Cashback was pending in my TopCashback account within one hour. Payable in 12 weeks. Doesn't seem to be anything in the way of hoops to jump through like Direct Debits or minimum payments into…
