Email supposedly from Zing

Hi ****
Thanks for choosing Zing.
We just need some more information before your Zing account is set up and ready to use. Please answer these questions:
- Do you or any of your close family members hold or have held any government-related position with important public functions?
- What is your current occupation? If you’re an entrepreneur, what is the name of your business? Or if you’re an employee, what is your employer’s name?
- What are your main and any additional ongoing sources of income or wealth (salary, benefits, investment, allowances, retirement income, scholarship, etc.), your approximate annual income and estimated net worth.
These questions are needed to comply with the formalities and procedures laid down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
Please note that you have 30 days from your sign-up date to reply to this request, otherwise we will not be able to proceed with your application.

Is the email itself legit? Absolutely no way of knowing, you haven't put the basic or full email header for any clues. Much easier to contact Zing yourself and confirm.0 -
1. Remember that email is the electronic equivalent of the post card, anyone will be able to read what you write.
2. Contact Zing yourself to find out if they sent you the email.
3. Make sure that sensitive information you send them, is over an encrypted channel.0 -
I had one of these emails weeks ago. Provided the info but not heard anything further.
Anybody else's account taking a very long time to open?0
