A&L 0% Overdraft Finishing in 2 Months!
Hi All, I'm just trying to plan ahead a bit as my A&L 0% Overdraft is up at the end of July and just wanted some advice! I am always in my overdraft and keeping this account would mean they would charge me 50p a day for using the overdraft, up to a maximum of £5 a month (as I understand the T&C's!). I only earn £15,750 so…

How long before accounts die?
Long story but bear with me. I am Mr X. My mum at the time of opening the account for Mrs Y (different surname through remarriage), this account was for me in mine and her name (I was 5 or something), so you get those kids passbooks with mums name and childs name etc. 7 years later. Mrs Y is taken off so its left with Mr Y…

I just have three questions. 1. How can I avoid…

Sad Smile.co.uk?
Does anyone else think that the Co-op have neglected their smile.co.uk brand over the past few years? Their interest rates have been poor for some time, but what kept me with them was their fresh and modern design, and a sense that they really cared for customer service. Now they seem much more keen to push the main…

LlloydsTSB - Instant Payments
I hope someone can help me because I can't seem to get the answer from LloydsTSB's customer service staff... Basically, I was with Alliance & Leicester. Made a mistake paying credit card online.
I wonder if anyone else has experienced this problem? I bank online with Nat West and did the normal payday thing of paying my credit card. Due to commotion in the office, I paid £700 instead of £70 to my cc provider. I spoke to Nat West within a minute of making the error but they told it left my account instantaneously…

Go on, who has my money?
More of a niggling question than a problem; wondered if anyone can advise. I had a problem with a product I bought and asked for a refund. The shop processed the refund back to my debit card yesterday (within 6 business hours of them receiving the product back - now that's service!) and sent me a printout of the refund…

Complaining to banks
Hi, The Halifax made a big balls up and my statements have been going to someone else's house. I am writing a letter to complain about this. I was just wondering whether I can demand anything. If, for example, I complain to Tesco, I would demand a voucher. So can I demand anything from the Halifax? Thanks

But 4 weeks later swift reinstated their direct debit and he was charged as no money in the account while he was awaiting JSA. He called the bank…
