Create Link in Forum
How do I create a link using a word rather than having to post the compete link, which can sometimes be quite long? I've tried by going to "Go Advanced" and double clicking a word, then clicking on "Create Link" and by selecting the link and then clicking "Create Link". Neither seem to work.

auto log in
I stupidly fiddled around with some settings in Firefox and control panels recently, trying to improve performance/security etc (yeah, crazy - if it ain't broke don't fix it!). Now I have to log in manually each time to all sites (this one, mail, etc) even though I tick the 'remember me' box when I log in. What have I done…

what does loop condition detected mean
I've contacted my isp to tell them that my phone line is dead but I'm still getting broadband but it keeps dropping now and again and they said that a loop condition has been detected so I need to get an engineer out. I've read it could be the internal wiring but does anyone know what loop condition detected actually means.

HDD activity light
Just treated myself to a new laptop, but it comes without a light to show HDD activity. It's annoying when you're used to one! There are some free downloads available to install a little icon thing to show when the hard drive is active, but they seem to be getting mixed reviews. Has anyone installed one of these downloads?…

Safer Web - Fact or Fiction?
Just been reading up on this, and know and understand many things are kept to aid advertising on the web, though I really think other than that someone following me would be bored out of their minds within an hour or two. Printer problem
I have a printer (Zebra GK420d) which has suddenly started to misbehave. It is printing 'every other' item. Let's say I have to print 50 address labels, I select the 50 items and it prints 25, missing every other label off. Yet they all are visible in the print queue. I can print in ones, but anything above 2 gives me half…
