I seem to have more questions on this board than any other! I tried to send a photo from my pc to my phone and it filled the memory and froze the phone Is it possible to do it, I suppose I'm doing something wrong Any advice in "simple" terms would be great

Can I fax without a dial up modem
I have windows XP and I'm supposed to be able to fax with it. I set it up and it tries to send and receive but it won't do it. Someone says I need to have a dial up modem in the computer as I'm on broadband Is that right?

install windows from dvd drive on startup
i want to install windows on a new pc (yes i have a separate licence) the new pc only has dvd writer and a dvd rom I have the bios bootup sequence to read from cd first, then floppy then hard disk. the bios doesnt have a choice to change the cd to dvd any ideas..... (apart from installing a cd rom.....)

Checking HDD files capacity on drive without os installed

Help - laptop runs like a pig.

cheap external usb floppy disk drive?
hi i was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap external floppy disk drives? i bought a dell computer which doesnt have one and also i dont think an internal one would do as the card readers in the bit where a floppy normally is. every one ive seen has been around the £20 mark - is this expensive? thanks for any help :beer:
