I have windows XP and I'm supposed to be able to fax with it.
I set it up and it tries to send and receive but it won't do it.
Someone says I need to have a dial up modem in the computer as I'm on broadband
Is that right?

yes, fax is an analogue system which needs a modem, so won't work on broadband, but there are some online methods to send and receive faxes available.

You will need a Modem to "Fax" from you PC, if yu don't have one then try

this is another way of sending "faxes" without a Modem or BT Line.
Hope it helps/// Good Luck:beer: Keep your Chin up.. it can only get better
