Anyone had experience of returning electrical items to Tesco?
Returned my Samsung 'Grabbit' DVD recorder because it had trouble with dual-layer discs. Because it was outside the 14 day return period, they said their
'technicians' would have to look at it first.
Will they contact me to tell me what's happening or will I have to chase them?
Thanks
Charlie

They legally will have to contact you.. it is your proprety and if they currently are holding it for you, you should have some sort of receipt or document to say they have it?
Once their technicians declare it faulty you're sent a new one (unless discontinued)
This is general practice for retailers regarding faulty returns outside of the return period.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I've got the courier's collection receipt.
Anyone had any experience of how long it takes for a response?

Just as well I've still got my VCR!

VCR.. What's on of them
I'm a student and my room at uni consists of 2 monitors for my pc, a laptop, and a dvd player with (soon to be) an LCD tv.
Anyone over a certain age would be lost in my room hehgood old youth (scuse the paradox)

All I can say is.. Sky Plus, no problem.. when I want my dad to record Doctor Who on the other TV however, then I need to ask him to set the VCR as i don't have a clue[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

We took a faulty DVD recorder back to Tesco after my daughter had had it for five months. The offered us an exchange but we said we wanted our money back and they refunded without any quibble.0
