My np3 player stopped working today. There's a constant whirry noise, the backlight comes on, but no tracks load. The noise it makes is the same as the nosie it usually makes when searching for a track, but much louder. I've changed the batter and the headphones, not worked. Charged it too.

Anyone have any advice or similar experiences? It's just out of warranty

    try upgrading the firmware, you can get it from the sony mp3 site, specify the make and model
