my daughter got her loan around 17th last year when she was 1st year,this years letter says same date even though course doesnt start till next week is she right in thinking she gets paid this week

Do most students in halls take a laptop/pc ? Where my son is going there is free internet (included in rent) but he's not sure he really wants to take one. Would it seem peculiar ot tight if a student didn't bring one?

What Do I Put?
I'm wanting to change the account my student loan goes into to my Bank of Scotland account. On the form for changing details from the SLC there is a bit for a building society roll number. Now, on my bank statement there is a roll number so do I put it on, or just put my account and sort code?
