Has anyone used this service with the Debut club and can you tell me what you're experience has been like? I am still waiting for something 3 months later and I finish my current job this Saturday.

Im sorry but the student transfer system is absolutely absymal! I was working at tesco for about 14months consistently before going to uni. I applied to go to any store in sheffield- from derby not really all that far. There are 5 stores i could have gone to but i put down the three closest to me and heard nothing! It ended up in me getting to uni and just walking in the shops saying i was fully trained up and do they need anyone. Luckily i found one but it was pointless me following the debut club procedure because they didnt even bother to sort it out. At christmas i transferred back to my original store no problem because they need more staff at that busy time. At Easter i got no work because they wouldnt take me back so had to have 3 weeks unpaid leave, then by summer it was a real fight to get back in and they only gave me a few hours a week despite hiring over 10 new staff for the checkouts who all needed to be trained up but of course they were all 16 so cheaper to pay. sorry for this rant but its a real bad system to use! and neither store will bother to sort out any holiday for you!0

I used this service while at uni and it was a mess the whole 3 years of studying, i could spend all day saying everything that happened. The service needs improving and more communication needs to happen between the transfer team and stores. I want to send head office the feedback from the service because I wish to study for a masters and I don't want the hassle again, its too much stress.0
