Postgrad loan help

Hi

I've just been told that my university doesn't accept Career Development Loans (think it's because it's Scottish, and it's the L&S Council for England and Wales which pays the initial interest on it), and my course wouldn't qualify for a Professional Studies Loan. Does anyone know of a loan provider who would give a full-time postgrad a loan, and at reasonable rates?

I've living costs from part-time work, just looking to pay course fees and maybe a little on top.

What course is it you want to do?

Have you tried looking at the university website? There are usually pages with info about postgradute funding. You could also e-mail the department you will be studying at and see if they can point you in the direction of funding or if they offer any sort of discounts on fees for working within the department (teaching first years, marking, research assistant etc).

I would be surprised if anyone would give you a loan x
