do 2nd year students get loan 17th

my daughter got her loan around 17th last year when she was 1st year,this years letter says same date even though course doesnt start till next week is she right in thinking she gets paid this week

She won't get anything until about 5 days after she has registered for her 2nd year, the date for first payment on the schedule is a guide...April Grocery Challenge £81/£1200
