Letting Agents.
DD has rented out her house whilst she is working in Thailand. Letting agents have just sent a statement for the taxman of income and expenditure. Ignoring the exorbitant cost of the letting the 2 sheets of computer generated paper (including post) was £66.00 The most expensive bit of paper I have ever had. ps. they won't…

Amazon customer services
Having a dreadful experience with Amazon customer services at the moment due to non delivery of an order they claim was delivered. Huge lag in responses and then generic replies.Their customer services used to be so good. Not wishing to take anything away from these deals - but maybe something to bare in mind.

Bad neighbour
We live in a very small block and we have a lot of trouble with a neighbour below with mental health issues. He threaten me in the street, shouted up abuse at our window, followed my husband to work, threatened the elderly neighbour below and tries to dictate to her how she will live her life, who is allowed to come in and…

'Best Before' dates query
not sure were to ask this question but hopefully will get answer here. My question is, if I buy a product that says 'best before' 1st May does that mean the product is best eaten by the end of the 30 April or does the 'best before' mean to consume by the end of the 1st May. Just to add I understand the difference between…

My YODEL nightmare
I know that this company is renowned for their incompetence and I'm probably flogging a dead horse here, but over the past 2 weeks I've had the worst experience as a consumer and feel that it doesn't harm to warn people of this clown outfit. The issue is very simple: after an initial failed delivery attempt owing to me…

George Foreman grill catching fire - barely used
Anyone else had an issue with these grills? My mum had one which didn't last too long & i can't remember why as it was a while ago. Ours caught fire at the weekend. Not fat but electrical. It started sparking & then came the flames. Thing is we bought it late 2013 when we got our house but we never moved in until March…

Don't trust Homeserve "No fix no fee" promise
I went through Homserve brand "plumbernow" to fix a bathroom leak. The confirmation email came from Homeserve with a reference number. So the engineer came and did not fix anything but gave general advice and left. My credit card statement came and Homeserve had charged me £99. So I phone them up and they say we don't know…

My other half wanted Bluetooth headphones for his birthday so I ordered a set from John Lewis mid March. Their website said the product was being shipped from supplier and would take 3 days, great as OHs birthday was at the start of April. Dfs
We bought a sofa from them over 7 years ago and one of the seat cushions zips broke. I contacted DFS today and were able to look up the original order and confirmed they would fit the zip free of charge and only charge for the £5 zip. They also advised they would come out and fit for us and no charges. How good is that.…

Praise - local pub chain
Tonight me and about 30 others went to a pub for a meal for a colleague that left us earlier this month. Booked it about three weeks ago. This morning, there was a fire in part of the kitchen, which made some of it unusable and therefore limited the menu. It was a drinks only pub for other customers and they saved what…

The Cyclone Centre - poor service
We have an old Dyson vacuum cleaner which has poor suction and cuts out after about 5 minutes of running. In February my wife googled dyson repair and this company came up, claiming a 5 day turnaround and a repair and service for a fixed cost, so she arranged to go ahead with it. A courier collected the machine on the 23rd…

Buying dead plants at Aldi
Aldi has spent much time and money on advertising, but it never seems to have offers on plants. Why? Because a week or so after they're on sale they're half dead. A week later they're fully dead. Is it just certain Aldi stores who staff can't be bothered to water them, or is it just the 2 stores in my home town? I emailed…

Unavailable items at home shopping food deliveries
I normally shop online at Asda but it is getting worse and worse with more items "unavailable" listed on the delivery note each time. Because of bad experience with substitutes before (pretzels instead of juice etc etc nonsense or much more expensive items in place of unavailable cheap ones) , I always tick "no…
