tassimo finally fixed their barcode issue

Tassimo finally figured their machines didn't always read the barcode properly and as a result didn't always froth up my America can (1 out of 20 maybe failed to foam)
First of all I figured it was foamer
Cleaned it
Put it in dishwasher
Put it in tassimo solution
Still periodically failed to foam
Bought a brand new foamer for £12
Still failed to foam the occasional drink
Figure my machine at 4 years old of daily use was just showing signs of wear
Bought brand new machine
Still failed to foam about 1/20 drinks

That's when I realised it was just failing to read the barcode properly on some drinks which had the instructions to foam

Simply gave each pod a wipe before I put it in the machine

Now it looks like tassimo have finally realised so they now stamping a much clearer bar code



Sorted!!!!

BTW I'm still using my old tassimo machine at work and look forward to 100% foamy American is )

Is this money saving tip?

I suppose it might saving you buying a new machine like me

That's interesting to know, I also get the odd one that doesn't froth up. V annoying.

Shouldn't be a problem with the new discs
Until then smooth out the bar code with a rub of your thumb

I've had this a few times now. Cafe crema comes out flat / like an Americano
