Fitbug
Anyone thinking about signing up for fitbug needs to read every word on the website very carefully. One year ago I paid about £84 for a year's subscription. I found the step counter useful to monitor my exercise but found recording my food intake complicated and time consuming; recipes weren't updated particularly…

Not allowed to laugh :)
For some reason this is the second time I have heard my neighbour after standing on her drive, to start to bark like a dog on heat or a calling to the moon for all I know. I can only suspect she is doing some sort of protest, but you see the thing is the houses near by including mine who have dogs, are quieter than hers.…

We went to La Tasca for lunch today - food ok, service ok but not great. But, a 10% service charge WAS added to the bill between the sub total amount and the…

RANT : iPhone / iTunes
We have decided that with a baby on the way we need to make space in our living room for the travel cot, so have put our PC in storage for the time being. 'No probs' I thought, 'we've got the laptop and I'll download iTunes to that so we can still use it'. Oh no, it's not that simple! I foolishly thought that when I loaded…

Heathrow Passport Control
What a total shambles. Returned from holiday earlier this week, and the queue for passport control was extending out of the passport control hall down the corridor back to the arrival gate. There were just 3 desks open for UK/EU arrivals without the newer passports. Yet the non EU desks were nearly fully staffed and there…

Asda price guarantee works!!!!
It works but I cannot get the voucher because I haven't get a printer. Why cant they send your voucher details to your mobile that would save time and money. I know I can go to the local library and get it printed of but then I have to pay £1.00 and the voucher is worth less than that so it's not worth me doing it.

Watch out for one of the latest scams to do the rounds. http://www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/consumerinformation/scamsandswindles/investment_scams/carbon_credit/index.shtml I led to believe they are quite persuasive and persistent, not has a call myself yet, not old enough or rich enough.

What happened to the cold caller thread?
I don't know if it's just me, but these days, whenever a thread gets interesting (when there is a difference of opinion where both opinions are articulated and a debate can begin), the thread is censored. Has that happened to cold callers, or has it been moved?

Groupn
I have been tempted with a couple of offers on Groupon - Mattress Topper and a Camera. Thought they looked like good offers - but like every other MSE'r - checked out other options. Camera was cheaper at Argos - and the topper was £5 cheaper in Asda. Do any other think Groupon gives good VFM?
