Conservatory Steel Bases Ltd & Trusted Local Suppliers
Here are two warnings. The above conservatory Company agreed to build one for us, including a bathroom, at GBP18500 by 28/5/10. They did not build it at all, having taken months to clear the 3 permits which could have applied; planning permission - not needed, building regulations - needed, Welsh Water approval - needed. I…

Is it me or is customer service getting worse in this country?
Companies always seem to screw things up through poor service !!! In the last week :- - Virgin ported my number to the wrong number even though I specifically told them which one to use. (Got two numbers on my account, one of which is my Dads sim). - Barclaycard cancelled my credit card because I paid £1000 for something.…

They take your money even if the items are not in stock and won't be in stock for months. They expect you to wait for items to come back in stock before the rest of the order is sent. Buying cinema tickets online...
...typically adds on 70p or so to each ticket over the face value at the box office. Not much, but it really ticks me off! Online transactions save retailers money as we are doing their job for them. Every other outlet I can think of either charges the same or less for online purchases. How and why did cinemas decide to be…

Fed up from Herts
I need to vent about something so apologise in advance. on January 19th this year I was driving to work and in a steady flow of traffic. The guy behind me decided he would overtake even though there was a car in front of me and one coming towards us in the oppopsite direction. In order to avert a head on collision he…

Argos refund warning - plse take note
Just to warn fellow MSE friends. Be careful if you shop at Argos. My local store is fab at accepting refunds but my parents' local store in Spalding is the opposite. We found they would not accept a genuine item for refund and their customer service was poor. My parents have lost £40 for no good reason.

Tesco Value Easy Peelers....
Well I didn't like the look of these waxy-skinned cannonballs languishing on the bottom of the fruit shelves, but putting faith in the description they were 'easy peelers' and given that non-fiddly peeling ranks high in the criteria that I apply to my non-specific citrus-orientated fruits, I dropped them in my basket. I…
