Parking Company obstructing appeal
Good evening, I recently received a PCN from a private parking company. Following the MSE guide, I followed the company’s appeals process. The grounds of my appeal was that it did not represent a genuine pre-estimation of costs. I received a response from the company rejecting my appeal. However, the “carefully considered”…

Ascertaining who a landowner is ?
Starting a new thread after advice from RedX regarding SIP whereby he/she suggests that my best course of action with SIP is to try to get the landowner to arrange to cancel the PCN with SIP. I have had a mooch round the forum and cant seem to find any advice on how to find out who owns the land in Manchester leased by SIP…

Final Notice & Threat of County Court Proceedings from SIP for PCN
Hi Everyone I have read the "newbie" sticky threads on the whole PCN subject and they are very useful. However, there are a couple of things that I could do with knowing now I've received this SIP "final notice" letter for overstaying for 15 minutes at a car park off Great Ancoats Street in Manchester in September. 1. Are…

Disabled parking outside marked area.
Can someone offer any legit advice on this? We have a mobility car for my wife. Her very elderly mother, also a BB holder was with her at the time. She parked on a side road, parking is perpendicular to the road, ie, nose to kerb. There are 11 spots, 1 marked disabled, no other parking within 200 yds DA or otherwise. She…

Why are some PPCs still with the BPA?
I dont get it. With IAS being the so called rubber-stamp and POPLA being so easy to win at using easily available forum advice why would any PPC remain under the BPA and not move to IPC. Seems strange. I know what I would do if I were running a PPC.

Overestimate of 'loss'?
Am I right in thinking I can reject a parking charge notice due to it being ridiculously overexaggerated? I parked in an empty car park for 2 hours. The car park does not charge for parking. I returned to my car, with the notice on the windscreen, and the car park was still empty. Isn't charging £160 for the 2 hours…

PCN from Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd
Hi, I have a PCN attached to my windscreen from the PCM (UK) Ltd yesterday for not displaying my parking permit (I forgot to display it, clever me!!). It is a dedicated residence parking bay and I am the leaseholder for the flat (i.e. the parking bay is for me). I have read the newbie threat and am I right in saying that I…

DRP hasseling me, threatening court £120
Got a letter from DRP demanding £120 or they will begin court proceedings against me. The consensus is to simply ignore this drivel - this has been going on for maybe 6 months now - just wanted to check I am doing the right thing. PS: the initial paperwork stated that the car was illegally parked at a time when it was not…

Hi, I got a 'Parking Charge Notice' from Excel Parking for not purchasing a ticket near Bryan House. I was going to the Chinese restaurant nearby. I've parked there before without any problems, is this a new company that have taken charge of the parking? Also, when I got there it was very dark and I couldn't see any signs…

Posted PCN from G24
Hi, I have read through the Newbie stickies and many of the recent "G24 PCN" related posts before writing this. Yesterday I, as the registered keeper of the alleged offending vehicle, received a Contractual PCN in the post from G24 for a parking related breach of term - an overstay of more than 1 hour in a Wickes car park…

Parking Eye LBCCC
Hi Guys 'n Gals. Having read through the stickies, I'm now at a loss as to how to proceed from here. Long story short . . . My wife (driver) took my in-laws (their car) shopping early 2013 to a retail park in Belper. It goes without saying that my Father in law then got an invitation to boost PE's xmas fund! After the…

HELP! Private Car Park fine - appealed threatening debt recovery
I apppealed against a parking fine that was issued in a private carpark using the advice on the website, My first initial reason for not paying was lack of signage, which failed as the photo showed my car below a sign which was roughly 10ft up in the air. Second was that the amount charged was of no realistic amount.…

PCN Left the car parked, with my partner in,to get change and got a ticket 1min later
Hi everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR, I really need help as I've never had a ticket before (have been driving for 7 years). So here's what happened: Right before Christmas my partner and I decided to take our daughter to the cinema. Off we went and parked the car at a council car park (Morrisons at Wimbledon if it matters) when…

Is it too late or have I been dumb by appealing?
I received a £100 PCN from UKPC for not parking within the bay correctly. I stupidly didn't read the forum sticky first and appealed as it seemed an absurd amount of money for something so trivial. they have of course refused my appeal and I now have 14 days to pay the reduced fee of £60 or it will go up to £100 again. I…

Where do I stand with this parking ticket?
I picked up a parking ticket in a council car park on 10th December. I paid for 2 hours parking by 'PayByPhone' but unfortunately when I registered my account with them, I was in my husbands car. As it's an automated service you just enter your mobile number and how long you wish to pay for, and it just didn't click that I…

Premier Parking Logistics Private Parking Fine help please?
Hi, I wonder if anyone could give me some advice please? I've parked on a car park in birmingham tonight that belongs to a retail store. I parked at 9pm, the store was shut. There was a barrier up.
