In an email sent to Penryn Town Council and local businesses, property developer Andrew Marsden said the current enforcement by Armtrac was “seriously damaging” Penryn’s reputation and was “aggressively deterring visitors”.
The email from the managing director of RobotMother, which owns and manages Jubilee Wharf and Jubilee Warehouse, was read out at the council’s meeting on Monday, and said: “I do not expect Exchequer Quay to be a free car park, but simply wish it noted that the draconian and often over-zealous enforcement currently in force is severely damaging Penryn’s reputation and visitor experience.
