Can someone offer any legit advice on this?
We have a mobility car for my wife. Her very elderly mother, also a BB holder was with her at the time.
She parked on a side road, parking is perpendicular to the road, ie, nose to kerb.
There are 11 spots, 1 marked disabled, no other parking within 200 yds DA or otherwise.
She arrived at the shop she was visiting and found all spaces taken except a "double", but the car to the left and the car to the right were right up to the marks, so there was nowhere else to park but straddling the lines, they both need doors fully open to enter or exit the car. Blue badge was clearly displayed
She returned 15mins later to find a council operative taking photos, he ignored her and walked away when she asked if there was an issue, but I suspect we may well get a notice in the post this week.
Is there a time limit on these things as there is with such as speeding tickets?
