But if I've already admitted I'm the driver...?
Greetings from a Newbie. My humble apologies if this has been raised elsewhere, there IS a lot of information on here and I did look through the Newbie Sticky. I forgot to pay my parking yesterday at a SWT station and realized this morning, quickly paying it by my phone. When I got back to the car it had been ticketed once…

Parkin Eye - OH ignored letters and now threat of County Court
OH parked in a retail park on 27th Feb. The limit was 3 hours but he said he didn't see any signs and he stayed for 4 hours. Anyway apparently he has had 3 letters from Parking Eye but didn't tell me and today he has received a letter from them stating it is a letter before County Court claim. If he had told me about it…

PCN Parking Services deny receipt of appeal letter
An appeal letter posted to PCN with no response heard. Roxburghe are now chasing alleged debt. Resent appeal to the PPC and they remain silent. An e-mail from Roxburghe informs that appeal wasn't received within time limits hence POPLA code cannot be issued. No direct contact from the PPC. Don't want to deal with Roxburghe…

Parking ticket/Marston's gone quiet
Hope this is in the right place, if not feel free to move/advise! I had a parking ticket in Nov 2012, and then a letter from Marston's in Sept 2013. A week later i had two visits from a bailiff, and the charges had gone from the original £82 to in excess of £400. I disputed these ridiculous charges with the advice of…

Ukcps pcn
Hello all, I would like to apologise in advanced if this has been dealt with elsewhere but I cannot find help with my query. I received a PCN from UKCPS on Monday evening for what I believe to be a ridiculous reason. The block of flats where I live all have allocated parking, all with clear signs specifying UKCPS and a…

Elite Management - Notice to Keeper received 91 days from PCN
Hello, I've read the newbies and stickies, but can't find if my tactics should change in this situation. I believe the NTK must be sent within 56 days? If an NTK was posted and dated a full 91 days after the alleged infringement, should this change the appeal letter? Is this a simple cut-and-dry…

UKPC - Parking fine
Hi, I live in an apartment block with a car park underneath monitored by UKPC, I have a parking space as part of my leasehold so own that space. In a particularly unfortunate week in the wet and windy weather the parking permit blew off of my dash twice and I got a ticket both times. My other half and I regularly swap the…

Footway parking - London Borough - paid but want to appeal?
Hi all, looking for some advice please. A relative received a PCN last week for parking two wheels on the kerb with no bay marked - this is common practice on their road as there used to be bays there (never were signs to specify where to park though, just they received a letter telling them to use bays) but when pavements…

pcn at humberside airport
hi I received a pcn from humberside airport 5 months after the the incident occurred. It was for stopping for 30 seconds near the famous busstop. I sent a letter appealing against the decision as I stated the weather was particularly bad on the night in question so the signage was not visable showing where the driver…

Quick question
Hi all. I received a parking ticket from Minster Maywatch at the hospital where I work 14 days ago. I have a permit but apparently I was parked outside of a designated bay. However, there was nothing to say I couldn't park there and there are cars parked there everyday. They are now asking for the usual £25/£50. The appeal…

Unexpected consequences of yesterdays court case?
The result in yesterdays court case (looking for a space does not constitute parking) made me think, could this actually be used by PPC's to circumnavigate POPLA? If, for example, a sign was erected which said something like "time limit for site: 2 hours" rather than "time limit for parking: 2 hours". And the name of the…

Help No POPLA code!
Hi all I have appealed and received no response from the PPC as they said they did not have my address on the letter I sent. So they have ignored my appeal and passed straight to TNC Parking Services (who had no issue finding my address and bombarding me with daily letters, sometimes 2 in one day!). I called and asked for…

G24 ticket.
I've had a Final Notice letter from G24 dated 12/3 (Contractual Parking Charge Notice), this is the first notice I've had off them. The entrance photo clearly shows my car reg. The exit photo does not show the reg at all, but they have added a small photo of the reg plate below the photo of my car. The photo shows a reg…

Consultation here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/consultation-on-rectifying-consumer-disputes-launched "There are some well established schemes in regulated sectors where the use of ADR is compulsory, such as the Financial Ombudsman Service, but in other areas such as passenger transport, water, construction, private…

Station Car Park Ticket
I am hoping someone can out my mind at rest on this matter. I have just received a letter from Debt Recover Plus Limited. I have double checked their website and they understandably do suggest people ignore advice on this website which I don't intend doing. One issue that did concern me was the suggestion that station car…

List of the scammers
I've had another look through the stickies etc but couldn't find a list of scammers. What would be useful is a list of those companies who will sue you, alongside those who won't - broadly speaking; a list of suers and sewers if you like.

Smart Parking website ?
Have tried to access the Pay or appeal a parking charge area but site says it says site is currently undergoing maintenance. Please call back later. It's been like this (for me) for 4 days. Spoke to smart parking who say it's functioning properly! Anyone else have this issue? My PC is functioning normally for anything else.
