Portsmouth to Caen Ferry
My Hubby and I have been asked on holiday to the south of France with the in laws. We were planning on joining them in the second week which would be the 27th July. I have looked on the Brittany Ferry website and they are quoting £450 for a return journey with car and reclining seats. Surely this is far too expensive -…

RAC Existing member beware
Just saw that my renewal for RAC is £201. The same package for a new customer is £150. Just spoke to them and although they cannot give a refund or rebate, they will extend my cover for an extra four months thus eqaulling the £150. It would be just as easy to cancel and sign up again as a new customer.

Hotel 30 March to 2 April
Anybody know of any good hotel deals at this time. The kids are teenagers so it needs to be a very big family room with decent "kids" beds or two rooms. Travel Tax petition- sign it now!!
My dad was telling me tonight that the government are thinking of introducing a new travel tax. We would all have to pay £200 to install a device to monitor our petrol consumption and then we would be taxed according to how much petrol we use a month. This would replace road tax but would mean a big increase in tax…

Girona -vs- Reus
Just out of curiosity...i am wondering why with Ryanair it is cheaper to fly to Reus with them than it is to Girona. Both airports are just as close to Barcelona which is the main destination for most of the people who fly these routes with them...therefore why is it more, and sometimes considerably more to fly to Girona…
