Hi All
I was wondering, is it possible to get travel insurance just for parts of holiday when going abroad? Im going away for 3 weeks to go home but want to take out insurance on just flights if possible, plus few days at the end of the period where i'll be taking a holiday elsewhere before heading back to the UK.
cheers

No generally not, travel insurance providers in the UK will only cover you for trips exiting the UK. If you simply purchased a policy to cover your outbound flight, to obtain the cover for the remainder of the trip would mean you'd be exiting from a non-UK place. I'm sure sopme less scrupulous providers may sell you a product, however you may not be covered should you need to claim
Question though? Why would you not want to cover yourself for the entire trip
