Can't check my reservation

We are going away in December and for an extra special treat we have booked a room at the Crowne Plaza Heathrow. When booking last weekend I got a leisure rate and for £99.00 (yes it is a special occasion) we got a deluxe room with access to the lounge with canapes with free drinks and free breakfast etc.
However I noticed that after I booked it the rate was no longer available and has gone up to £150.00. All during the week I was able to access my reservation and indeed received email confirmation on the night I booked it and also I took a screen print because the price was so good, however now I can not access my reservation on the internet and a message comes up to contact the reservation centre or the hotel direct. I have got a feeling they are not going to honour this price, it was prepayment but they have not taken payment yet.
Can I appeal bearing in mind they sent a confirmation email?
I would really be grateful for any advice, even though it is a special occasion I would not pay £150.00 especially since it accepted my booking at £99.00 (including taxes etc)
Thanks MSE'rs

No Matter what you do there will be critics.
