I'm goin to whinfell on fri, with GF, her sis and her BF.
Is the aqua sana thing worth it??
What kind of clothes should we take?
Do people get 'dressed up' to go out at night?
What other 'things' do we need to take with us?

I think if it is just the four of you and no kids you would like the aqua sana. It is £26 as oppossed to £32 at certain times or you could go for the Ballinese buffet. It is £35 I think but you get your evening meal incl. It can be busy at times but seems quiet around 5-6.30 ish. The outside pool is nice when it is dark. Did you get a little book with special winter warmers(think that is what it was called) It has a voucher for 2nd person half price at the aqua sana. I would say people don't overdress at night but that's probably the ones with kids!!! Remember and take clothes for doing the sporty stuff, and a very good idea is to take a couple of towels each. One for swimming and the other for in the lodge. Normally not supplied in lodges but you do get a towel and a dressing gown in the aqua sana. Badminton rackets are a good idea if you have them.0

The sauna is good take a good book or the paper . Eating out just smart dress as if you were going for a bar meal etc. Take good coats if you don't have bikes as walking everywere if its wet can be a bind? There is a morrisons at Penrith before you go in i think to stock up on food if you want. Plenty of peanuts and bird food the wildlife is great around there. Also look out fro the red sqiggies. If its not busy you won't have a problem booking for anything. best idea is do something everyday rather than everything at once.
if you want to get out go to the lillieput lane shop just the otherside of the M6The measure of love is love without measure0
