Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to get hotel rates cheaper than what it says on the web pages - I'm sure people are able to stay cheaper than the prices quoted.

Do a search for las vegas on this forum and read the big threads that the results will throw out. No doubt someone will be along to save you the effort soon but all the info you need is already on here. Thats how I found out where to look and where to keep an eye out for cheaper rates.
But as to not sound too harsh heres a start

Try https://www.cheapovegas.com
Look at the Bargain Bin entries might give you some ideas.
Also sign up to all hotels newsletters, you will then get best offers sent direct to you. Only thing with some of the casinos is they look at UK address and sometimes do not send the info.
Another sight I use which is v.good for vegas is https://www.travelzoo.co.uk and https://www.dealchecker.co.uk their weekly lists are amazing.
We got Caesers Palace. Tower Suites with food and beverage credits right over Xmas for £60 night. Usually £200 plus midweek.

We stayed at The Bellagio and booked direct with the hotel website around 10 months in advance, think we only paid a 10% deposit. We watched the rate climb over the year and as we had booked a fairly expensive room (fountain view), we ended up saving around $1200 for a 10 day booking.
3 things I would recommend for Vegas :-
Join the players club on line, you are usually eligible for accommodation offers.
Avoid staying on a weekend as room rates can double.
Book well in advance.0 -
Just had another thought, hotels generally say they are the best rate guaranteed i.e. if you book with them and then see a better offer they will give you the difference.0

try downloading https://www.travelaxe.com onto your computer it then searches all the deals available for specific area and dates. We got a great deal at the Luxor by using this site last year. I am so jealous.0
