Strawberry Jam problem
Help made some strawberry jam which worked out ok apart from all the strawberries have gone to the top of the jar. Should I have chopped the strawberries into smaller pieces? I kept them whole. Any advice gratefully received have made jam before but never strawberry.

Best way to store cheese?
If I put it into the fridge for more than a few days it goes rock solid even when sealed, if I freeze it its pretty much the same. I heard before about putting it in a plastic container you can seal but is that the best?

Using up peaches
My neighbour went on holiday today and kindly gave me some salad and a punnet of (slightly wrinkly) peaches that need using up ASAP. The peaches are past their best/overripe and I wondered if anyone had any good ideas about how I could use them up? Thanks.

Please help, black clothes coming out of washer covered in white bits
It's driving me mad. I've tried using the Dettol washing machine cleaner with the washer on full with nothing in the drum but my black clothes are still coming out covered in white bits. What can I do, the washer is fine apart from this and not very old.
