bleach seems to have changed

I used to "stockpile" supermarket thick bleach when it was on special offer, but in recent years this has turned into a false economy because in a matter of weeks a chemical reaction has taken place inside the bottle. It goes from thick to thin and all bleaching properties are lost. I presume the formulation has been changed in order to save the environment.
Does anyone know whether branded products are more stable than an own brand?

Funny you should say that. I bought cheap bleach some time back - and, more recently, I bought bleach somewhere else .... and I was immediately struck by how thick the new stuff was and how thin the old stuff was. I just assumed it'd always been thin and I'd not noticed, not that it'd changed while it sat in my house!
I'll be noting this new stuff from now on ..... see what it does.0 -
Now that you mention it, I've recently bought Domestos and been struck by how thick it seemed c/w other thick bleaches. I don't remember it being so thick as it was. xxx0
