Help! Can I cook 2x2.5kg hams in slow cooker?
Help, been in hospital for 12 days, and now running really behind with cooking hams etc. I need to cook 2 X 2.5 kg Wiltshire hams in Coke in slow cooker. My head is all over the place and can't think straight. How long would I need to cook them for? Also took them out of freezer about 7pm hoping will be defrosted by noon…

Lamb stock
Following on from the gammon stock thread I was wondering what to use left over lamb stock for? I use some for gravy but end up with lots left. Is there a soup perhaps? The stock usually has mint and rosemary in plus a good slosh of red wine!

tarnished cutlery
My cutlery is blackened. We are buying new and don't want it to go the same way.My daughter's cutlery always looks lovely and it's always in the dishwasher. Does anyone use supermarket tabs but still have nice looking knives and forks?

Whats good to marinate meat?
I stopped a lot of home cooking as it literally just tasted like meat chucked in a sauce rather than marinated but thts because that was exactly what I did! What is best for chicken, beef, lamb etc.

FlaxMeal (Flaxeed Grounded) + water? will it make dough ?
If you have grounded flaxseeds (called Flax meal) which is in a way powder flaxseed, then if you add water to this, (in the same way to add water to flour) then would this likely stick together and turn to a dough like consistency ? Chilli Jam more like Chilli Toffee
Hi I made some chilli jam last night which didn't set so I reboiled it. Now it's more like chilli toffee ! You can't get a spoon into it ! Any suggestions of anything I can do with it ? It does soften when heated so I can get it out of the jar. Jen

Dairy free milk or substitute for tea?
Does anybody have any recommendations for dairy free milk or milk substitute? I only have skimmed milk in my tea now (as cant seem to stand milk in cereals etc...) and even that seems to disagree with me. I've tried soya milk and oatmilk, neither of which seem great in tea - so I'm looking for an alternative that isn't too…
