Chilli Jam more like Chilli Toffee

Hi
I made some chilli jam last night which didn't set so I reboiled it.
Now it's more like chilli toffee ! You can't get a spoon into it !
Any suggestions of anything I can do with it ?
It does soften when heated so I can get it out of the jar.

You could try adding some glycerin (available from pharmacies) to the re-heated mix. It's a humectant, meaning it will retain water and keep the mixture soft rather than let it set hard.
How much you add is another story, however. I'd have a clean saucer handy to get the setting point right.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
