Hello. I'm getting really excited now and getting all organised for Christmas.
Yesterday I changed all the beds and including washing all the bedding and the fleece blankets from the kids beds I caught up on all the laundry. 8 loads washed, dried and put away.:j
I'm doing the food shopping this afternoon. We're eating at my parents on Xmas eve and in laws on Xmas day so just need to get some nice food in for this week. I want to try a breakfast casserole on Xmas morning which is made the night before and just put in the oven on Xmas morn. Recipe I found on YouTube. It has eggs, sausage meat, bread and cheese all mixed and baked together. I will serve with croissants and orange juice.
Almost all presents wrapped except husbands so will try to do that today.
Tomorrow I need to clean the house from top to bottom because I like a clean house on Xmas morn so if I do a big clean tomorrow I will hopefully be able to maintain things for the rest of the week.
I'm hoping we can use this thread to detail our final plans, preparations and Xmas menus because I love hearing what you are all doing.
Ho ho ho lets countdown to Christmas together. What are your plans?

Hello. You do sound organised!
I won't lie, I have my groceries being delivered tomorrow and it has lots of fresh stuff and lots of treat stuff. out for xmas day lunch and Boxing Day tea so only bits in between needed to buy for. All presents bought and wrapped. Any bits sainsbury manage not to deliver tomorrow I shall go out to the 24 hour supermarket either weds or thurs but I don't expect that to be much. Will change bed on Christmas Eve so that sheets are lovely for bed that night. Have cleaned everywhere but will likely need to do at least the kitchen and bathroom again. All washing up to date. Again, will likely do a mop up wash on Thursday. Will be baking and pre-cooking bits weds and Thursday. I am contributing to both meals out so they will be done and stored as needed. Right now I am listening to the radio with feet up on the sofa. Have a few things to do before meeting a friend for late lunch today. Will sort TV viewing tomorrow once TV guide arrives!
Hope everyone is getting sorted
